She was born Anna Mary Robertson Moses. This folk-artist did not begin painting until she was 78 years old. She then pulled off an amazing 20-year run to become everything apple pie, hot dogs and Chevrolet. Her pastoral Upper State New York and Southern Vermont paintings fetch over a million dollars these days.
