She dismissed all of the Freudian interpretations of her larger than life genitalia-like floral art pieces. She lived a good long life checking out at the age of 98. She spent the last half of her life in New Mexico where the air and the dry heat served her well. The output during the last half of her life were inspired by her Southwest surroundings.
