WILLIE DIXON (1915 – 1992)
MUSIC ::: BLUES :::
Talent borrows, genius steals is all good for the genius but if the genius is Jimmy Page and you happen to be blues great Willie Dixon then it really sucks. Dixon spent the later half of his life advocating for blues greats whose songs were ripped off by many classic rock acts. Led Zeppelin was forced to settle for helping themselves to Willie's "Bring It On Home," and lyrics repurposed for "Whole Lotta Love."
