Boston Callin’ combines the two full-length albums that established Last Stand’s One Way catalog: Faith in Fate followed by Approved Cuts. Both records received recommendations from Maximum Rocknroll.
Oi! Records licensed the twenty-song collection for Europe near the end of the 1980s. One Way brought that edition back to the United States on January 1, 1999 after Marisa T. Dery digitally mastered the performances at the Tape Complex in Boston.
The combined sequence makes the band’s development audible across twenty songs, from “Safe Sex” and “Faith in Fate” through “Wood & Steel,” “Violent Solution” and “Who’s That?”
