One of Berenice Abbott's most iconic Route 1 shots is at the George Washington Bridge. I get vertigo at tall heights so it was really intense creeping toward the edge. Then it was off to find the heartbeat of the Bronx and I found the proper neighborhood. Made some great connections and some fine acts at the An Beal Bocht Cafe. The afternoon Irish Session gave me the chills.
